The ACT Board would like to thank Tumbleweed Productions of Virden for all their hard work and enthusiasm in hosting ACTFest 2010 "Hats Off to Theatre!" The programme ran to shedule. If you were hungry that was your fault. Food was abundant. Friendliness pervaded the whole weekend. The beautiful Auditorium Theatre provided a perfect location for productions and for learning. Hats off to Tumbleweed!

Tumbleweed Productions encourage interested group members to host ACTFest in May of 2011. We would like to see the torch for next year passed on before too long. We considered the hosting of ACTFest to be a very rewarding experience for us as a group and for showcasing our town.

After declaring our intention at the annual general meeting in October of last year we met monthly for ACTFest organization. Individuals took responsiblility for each committee, did their share of the work as the months went on and only at the last week were we harrassed. It was a great bonding experience. It was also a great social experience. At every meeting people brought along a potluck lunch item. What is a meeting without food?
